Dala valley is situated in Panxian county, Guizhou province, and is famous for its beautiful scenery and comfortable weather. It won the title of "China's Most Beautiful Countryside Spot" in 2014 and was chosen as the demonstration site for national leisure agriculture and rural tourism. It is one of Guizhou's top 10 agricultural tourism resorts, one of 100 agricultural parks and one of 100 key tourist attractions.

The name Dala valley comes from the Bouyei language and refers to unity and mutual aid. It is said the son of the underworld used to collect human souls as a form of tribute. In order to save the innocent, the goddess of the sun transformed a horse into a beautiful girl, the goddess Dala, who battled the son of the underworld and defeated him. After her victory, the goddess Dala and the people she saved danced around a bonfire. Later, the victorious valley was called "Dala Valley" in her honor.

The total planned area of Dala valley is 48 square kilometers, with the core area being eight square kilometers. It features a modern agricultural park with agricultural, technological and cultural elements. The park offers fruit picking, ecological sightseeing, wedding photography and elderly care and is a demonstration area for leisure agriculture and rural tourism.

Dala valley integrates agriculture, tourism, health care, entertainment, accommodation, conferencing and catering.
