Guizhou starts 101 special bond projects

On June 16, with the support of 10.66 billion yuan ($1.51 billion) in special bonds, Southwest China's Guizhou province kicked off 101 projects totaling over 60 billion yuan in investment.

Among the 101 projects, 22 involve public health, seven involve pre-school and vocational education, and 12 involve culture and senior care. In addition, there are 22 infrastructure projects focusing on Guizhou's featured agriculture and innovative service industry.

The projects also focus on new infrastructure, new urbanization and major projects, including 18 intelligent logistics and parking lot projects, 11 urban sewage, waste treatment and old residential area reconstruction projects, and nine transportation and water conservancy projects.

According to the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Guizhou will strive for more special bond projects that can create profits and meet the needs of the people.
