A special session which aimed to coordinate the production and sales of advanced manufacturing industries was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on June 16.
Companies involved in the auto and general aviation industries attended the session and promoted products such as buses, ambulances, sanitation vehicles and utility aircraft.
Departments of transportation, health, civil aviation, and environmental sanitation, as well as operators of public transportation, hospitals and general aviation also joined the session, and signed 212 million yuan ($29.95 million) worth of contracts with the companies.
In 2019, Guizhou produced 56,900 autos, with an output value of 15.58 billion yuan and an added value of 3.58 billion yuan.
Meanwhile, as a province with strong aviation industrial support abilities, Guizhou has completed its industrial chains of aircraft, aero-engines, airframe structures, airborne equipment and aircraft maintenance.
Guizhou will now further accelerate project construction, enhance industrial chain support abilities, and increase support for R&D, business operations, brand standards and market expansion to realize a better and more optimized industrial structure.
