Xingyi's Maling River Canyon to reach best sightseeing period

Maling River Canyon in Xingyi city, Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently saw a rapid increase in waterfall volume due to the continuous rainfall. Experts said that the waterfall's best sightseeing period will last from now until August.

According to Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism's economy stimulation policy, visitors can enter the scenic area for free before July 31.

Since Maling River Canyon reopened to the public on Feb 23, the scenic area has set a limitation of 1,000 people per day to enter in different periods, with each period allowing no more than 250 people to enter.

Before entering the scenic area, visitors should book online and receive body temperature measurement, scan their health codes, register with their real names, register their personal information, and sign letters of commitment.

In addition, the scenic area disinfects the public areas and key areas regularly every day to make sure the safety of visitors.

Maling River Canyon is 74.8 kilometers long, 50-150 meters wide and 120-280 m deep, and known as the area with most concentrated waterfall group in China's karst landform area.

In addition to the karst landform, sports enthusiasts can also enjoy drifting here.
