Guizhou, European groups ink contracts at online fair

A special business promotion to boost commerce between Southwest China's Guizhou province and Europe was held on June 28 during the 2020 Guiyang Import and Export Online Fair, according to the organizers.

The session invited 50 companies from Guizhou to exhibit tea, food, ethnic culture handicrafts and mechanical and electrical products.

In addition, there were 30 buyers and trade associations from Europe participating, to negotiate online.

The organizers said that during the online session, Guizhou's featured products caught the attention of European buyers and led to intentional contracts agreed worth $2 million.

The event was live broadcast on various mainstream media online platforms and achieved 2.38 million views.
