The activity of 'Sinology Flourishes in Guizhou' held a press conference at the Guiyang Confucianism School in Guiyang on Sept 25.

Around 30 media organizations attended the conference, including the web news portals China.org and CNTV (China Network Television).

Xu Qi, director of the Guiyang Confucianism School, attended the conference and delivered a speech, saying that the school is an important place in the city to carry forward traditional Chinese culture.

Hu Tao, a senior editor from the official website of Guizhou province, gave an introduction to the activity.

The activity will be held in the city from Sept 25-29 and feature a series of events, including the 7th Cross-Straits Chinese Characters Festival.
