The agreement signing and unveiling ceremony of the Guian New Area Rendering Intelligent Computing Center and Digital Cultural Content Production Base took place in Guiyang Big Data Science and Innovation City on Sept 22, a significant step for Guian in the rendering intelligent computing field.

The center and production base will be jointly built and operated by Guizhou Digital Science Co, a subsidiary of Guian Development Group, and Shenzhen Ruiyun Technology Co. The two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement on that day.

The Guian New Area Rendering Intelligent Center, costing a total of 100 million yuan ($13.68 million), is expected to be put into operation by June 2024. Upon completion, the project is expected to have a single-precision computing power of 320P, providing enhanced digital content rendering services for projects across the country, including film, animation, gaming, and more.

The Digital Cultural Content Production Base is set to focus on film rendering and animation production. By leveraging computational support from the rendering intelligent center, it will collaborate with Shenzhen Ruiyun's industrial ecosystem, Guizhou's digital cultural enterprises and resources from various vocational colleges.

This collaborative effort will focus on industry-education integration and talent development, providing industrial and talent support for the development of the digital cultural industry in Guian.

Gao Bin, chairman of Shenzhen Ruiyun, said during the ceremony that in 2016, Ruiyun chose Guian as the company's preferred location for establishing a computational platform, increased investment, and collaborated with multiple partners, including China Telecom and the Guian Supercomputing Center. The two parties have successfully completed post-production rendering work for films such as "The Wandering Earth 2."
