As of March 15, there had been a total of 176 projects initiated in Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area this year, with a cumulative investment of 43.09 billion yuan ($59.85 billion).

Among them are 80 projects each with investment of over 100 million yuan, totaling 402 billion yuan.

Industry and infrastructure are the key investment areas for projects initiated this year. These include new industrialization and big data projects, such as the Electronic Information Industrial Park in Guiyang's Yunyan district, the Green Pesticide Production Base in Guiyang's Kaiyang county, and the acquisition of equipment for the 2024 Data Computing Power Base.

Additionally, there is a series of projects involved in infrastructure construction, environmental system renovation and rural drinking water safety in various places throughout Guiyang and Gui'an.

This year, Guiyang and Gui'an have prioritized the speedy construction of new projects in the first quarter as a top investment priority.

Going forward, Guiyang and Gui'an will strengthen their tracking and support services for projects that have secured funding from higher authorities.
