As the urban renovation of Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area progresses, a series of initiatives benefiting people's livelihoods and aligning with their interests have been implemented. The long-awaited convenient living circles for residents are now within reach.

The basketball court of the Zhujiangwanpan Residential Community is a supporting project of the Qianjiang living circle in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone. It was put into use in August 2022 and features a basketball court, ping-pong tables, and a badminton court, with a total area exceeding 1,000 square meters. It is open to community residents at scheduled times each day.

Wei Ling has lived in the community for over 10 years and almost every morning she goes to the basketball court to exercise. "Before the renovation, the ground was all concrete, and if it was wet, it became slippery and unsafe for exercising," Wei said. "Now, the court is up to standards and much better than before."

Meanwhile in Wudang district, Bailuzhou Kindergarten, as a supporting educational project of the living circle for Longguanglu sub-district, was put into operation last September. It covers an area of over 1,200 square meters and has six classes accommodating a total of 180 students. As an affordable kindergarten, it is well-equipped with basic facilities to meet the educational needs of children in the surrounding community.

Tang Mei, a resident of the Bailuzhou Residential Community, explained that her grandson used to have to walk half an hour to attend kindergarten. Since the opening of Bailuzhou Kindergarten, it now takes just a few minutes for him to get to school.
