The first comprehensive water sports facility in Guiyang is set to open in Dushan village, Xiuwen county, on July 28.

Nestled in the picturesque Taoyuan Reservoir, which spans an expansive 3,600 mu (240 hectares), this natural treasure offers breathtaking scenery and a vast water area perfect for a variety of recreational activities.

The facility is more than just a water sports facility, it also aims to become an integrated tourism destination that combines natural beauty, cultural experiences, leisure and entertainment, allowing every visitor to appreciate the unique charm of "water + culture, sports, and tourism," noted a local official.

The official added that a series of exciting water activities will be unveiled, including jet skiing, wake surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and family-friendly water biking, designed to let visitors enjoy the beauty of nature while experiencing the fun and excitement of water sports.

The facility will offer a variety of complementary services, such as lakeside camping and trendy coffee spots, ensuring that every surfing trip is more fulfilling and memorable.

It is open from 9:00 am to 2:00 am the following day.
