Guiyang and Gui'an strive toward high-quality inland opening-up economic

In the first three quarters of this year, Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province exports to ASEAN countries increased by 49.8 percent, to Central Asian countries by 44.8 percent, and to RCEP member countries by 49 percent. Service trade increased by 19.27 percent year-on-year, accounting for 92.1 percent of the total in the province and maintaining their leading position. Currently, Guiyang and Gui'an engage in economic and trade exchanges with 177 countries and regions.
Data shows that Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport has opened 249 domestic routes, 21 international routes, and four international cargo routes, serving 136 cities. On Nov 13, the airport's passenger throughput exceeded 20.02 million for the year.
Nearby the airport, the International Mail Exchange Bureau, International Cross-border Center, Bonded Logistics Center, International Freight Center, and Comprehensive Service Center have been put into operation, enabling direct export and import services.
The high-speed railway of Guiyang and Gui'an reached a total operating mileage of 360 km, making them one of the top 10 high-speed rail hubs in the country. The expressways of Guiyang and Gui'an have 11 export points, with a total mileage exceeding 600 km, providing direct access to the East China region.
Relying on the Guiyang international land port, a regional international freight hub system connecting Europe, RCEP, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Beibu Gulf has been formed, with the Guizhou-Guangdong Railway, China-Europe Railway, China-Laos Railway, and the Western Land-Sea New Trade Corridor Railway launched.
In addition, 120 enterprises in the Guizhou Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park, located in the Guiyang Free Trade Zone, utilized comprehensive foreign trade services such as currency exchange and logistics to export over 300 products from Guizhou to Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, and other regions. The industrial park has facilitated cumulative import and export trade worth billions of yuan for the serviced enterprises.
