At the Guizhou Promotion Conference for Culture and Tourism Industry held on Sept 27 in Southwest China's Guizhou province, agreements for 28 projects with a total contract value of 36.35 billion yuan ($5.62 billion) were signed.

The conference was a part of the 2021 International Mountain Tourism Conference (IMTC), which was held in Tongren, Guizhou on Sept 26-28.

The signed contract value is 13.38 billion yuan more than that in 2020, and nine of the signed projects will be invested by Fortune Global 500 and China's top 10 enterprises.

The projects signed this year are also more varied, as 14 are major investment projects, four are scenic area operation projects, and 10 are new business form development projects.

Guizhou boasts complete culture and tourism industrial chains, making it an ideal place for culture and tourism investment. In recent years, Guizhou has pushed for tourism products to be more diverse, carefully chosen, and customized.

Guizhou also integrates tourism with other industries, providing opportunities for different enterprises in the tourism industrial chain.

In the future, Guizhou will continue to accelerate tourism integration and improve tourism quality to meet the needs of customers. It will take full advantage of its natural environment, climate, resources, transportation, and policies to attract more investment from entrepreneurs.
