Guizhou, Germany seek cooperation through BRI

Southwest China's Guizhou province attended the eighth "Belt and Road Initiative" (BRI) Sino-German economic cooperation dialogue online on Nov 22. The dialogue will last for three days.

This is the fifth time Guizhou has attended the dialogue, which aims to allow China and Germany to achieve mutual development and invite government officials, entrepreneurs and university representatives from both countries.

During the three-day dialogue, China and Germany will discuss politics, economic development, investment environment, vocational education, artificial intelligence, online trade, logistics, circular economy, and medical treatment cooperation.

Guizhou will also promote its business environment and other advantages at the dialogue as a guest of honor.

Shen Beili, deputy head of the International Department of Central Committee of the CPC, said she looks forward to the dialogue attracting the participation of more government departments and companies to strengthen cooperation potential and promote strategic cooperation between China and Germany.

Guizhou's representatives said at the dialogue that the province hopes to enhance exchanges with Germany, share in the benefits brought about by the BRI, and carry out in-depth cooperation in big data, advanced equipment manufacturing and tourism.
