Guiyang ranks among China's top 100 cities in digital transformation

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, ranked 20th among China's top 100 cities in terms of digital transformation, according to the report "City Digital & Intelligent Transformation Top 100" released by CCID Consulting on Dec 1.

The report evaluated the digital transformation abilities of China's cities in terms of information foundation, city governance, social services, industrial economy, innovation guarantees, and low-carbon development.

The report shows that Guiyang has strong digital transformation potential and focuses on technological integration and ability coordination.

Guiyang also ranked fourth nationally on the report's evaluation of government open data, following Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu.

In recent years, Guiyang has been working to enhance digital governance, improve data resource utilization abilities, and launch online government services.

In the future, Guiyang will connect with the provincial online government affairs service platform, unify online service standards, optimize its data sharing system, and make more government affairs services available on mobile phones.
