Intl training course on big data policing starts in Guiyang

The opening ceremony of the International Training Course on Big Data Policing of China-ASEAN and the Neighboring Countries was recently held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The course is an international cooperative training project of the Ministry of Public Security’s in 2019 and has been organized by Guizhou Police Officer Vocational College for five consecutive years.

The training aims to establish a platform for international exchanges and cooperation. Seventeen officials from eight countries, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam, will participate in the 10-day course to learn more about big data policing.

With the help of big data, the Department of Public Security of Guizhou has improved its enforcement and has become the main base for innovating policing cooperation among China, ASEAN, and neighboring countries.
