China's first multiverse immersive digital experience pavilion themed on the Long March opened in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 31.

The pavilion is located near the Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport. With an area of nearly 80 mu (5.33 hectares) and a building area of 53,000 square meters, it is a significant part of Guizhou's efforts to build the National Long March Cultural Park.

The pavilion incorporates cutting-edge digital technology and audio-visual equipment to explore the rich culture around the Long March in Guizhou. It seeks to promote the integration of Long March culture with tourism and technology to honor the glories and hardships of the Long March.

It is divided into six chapters, retelling the story of the Long March through historical, strategic, leadership, and soldiers' perspectives.

The pavilion aims to become a world-class venue focusing on Long March culture, technology, and art, serving as an important project for patriotic education. It is expected to officially open its doors to visitors in the fourth quarter of this year.
