With more opportunities to opening-up, various departments in Southwest China's Guizhou province are joining hands to help Guizhou's products enter and expand in international markets.

According to January-October statistics, Guizhou's total import and export value reached 53.29 billion yuan ($7.5 billion), an increase of 4.7 percent year-on-year. This is also 4.7 percentage points higher than the national average growth rate.

Of this total, the value of exports reached 34.7 billion yuan, an increase of 10.6 percent year-on-year.

Due to its inland location, Guizhou has a weak foundation for opening-up. This is why exploring diversified international markets is particularly important for Guizhou enterprises.

"Through e-commerce sales channels, our company has achieved an annual sales amount of 50 million yuan and has become a leading company in the furniture industry." said Li Changqing, the person in charge of international trade at Guizhou Anjubao Furniture Co.

Li said that the company's next step is to research foreign trade development trends and future market direction in order to export more high-quality products overseas.

On Dec 14, Guizhou Yuanhai Land Port Development Co was officially established in Guiyang. Its full supply chain product "Qianlianda" was also released on the same day.

The establishment of the company is expected to create an open platform for Guizhou products to go global, supporting Guizhou in its pursuit of becoming an inland hub for the open economy.

By using rail-sea intermodal transportation, the company aims to better connect the inland and international markets.
