The Nanjiang Grand Canyon scenic zone is located in Kaiyang county, 39 kilometers from downtown Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou province.

As one of "Eight Guiyang Attractions", it is known as the World Karst Ecology Museum. It has complicated terraces, eccentric rocks and wonderful ecology, which give it a unique beauty.

With an altitude of over 100 meters, it looks like a traditional landscape painting. Huge rocks have fallen into the river and been battered by the waves for millions of years, giving them a variety of beautiful shapes and features.

The Nanjiang Grand Canyon was listed among the national 4A scenic areas in 2008. The admission fee is 68 yuan ($10.25) for each person, and the best season for visiting this scenic zone is between March and October every year.
