Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is accelerating the development of a national computing power and algorithm supporting base with participation of leading information technology companies, and aiming to help drive the digital economy of the country, its mayor Ma Ningyu said.
The mountainous province of Guizhou in Southwest China has become a pioneer in China's big data industry, standing as one of the regions with the biggest number of superlarge data centers globally.
The 11th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo came to a close in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Nov 12, sealing deals worth 8.16 billion yuan ($1.15 billion).
