With a theme of "sharing Guizhou's tea with the world", the twelfth Guizhou Tea Culture Festival and Tea Industry Expo is under preparation and will kick off on May 28 in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The festival's main venue for purchasers will be in Meitan county, Zunyi, but there will also be several parallel sessions in eight cities and autonomous prefectures such as Guiyang, Liupanshui, Anshun and Tongren for production, marketing and commercial match-making.

Due to the novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) outbreak, Guizhou has also launched an online tea industry expo, including promotion, marketing, sales, and entrepreneurship training to showcase Guizhou tea.

So far, the online sales volume has reached 3.6 million yuan ($509,495), and is expected to exceed 90 million yuan by the end of the year.
