Guiyang Import and Export Online Fair launches official mascot

The 2020 Guiyang Import and Export Online Fair, which will take place in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from June 26-28, recently launched its official mascot.

The mascot, named Shuang Shuang, is a Guizhou golden monkey, an animal under first-class state protection in China.

"Shuang" means cool in Chinese, which refers to Guiyang's cool weather, and also shows Guiyang's vitality.

Shuang Shuang wears a business suit to accord with Guiyang's policy of economic opening-up. Meanwhile, it also embodies the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, and that Guiyang Import and Export Online Fair is an open and international event.

Shuang Shuang will show up at the fair's three online live-streaming as virtual anchor to interact with audiences.
