The online activity for the 10th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo will be held by Southwest China's Guizhou province on Sept 9-12.

The activity will include an online exhibition, coordination of production and sales, livestreaming and business negotiations.

It will have seven online exhibition areas for exported alcohol, spirits, wine, fruit wine, yellow rice wine and wine-related products, with participation from 500-1,000 exhibitors, including 200-500 overseas exhibitors.

The expo will also feature five offline exhibition areas with 1,500 booths covering an area under 50,000 square meters. Currently, 226 wine companies from China's nine major spirit-producing regions have signed up for the offline exhibition.

The offline exhibition will require visitors to make appointments online, wear masks, show health codes and submit to body temperature checks to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo is a significant trade cooperation platform for the global wine industry and industrial wine chain. Co-held by the Ministry of Commerce and Guizhou government, the expo has seen the participation of 6,190 exhibitors and 65,000 purchasers from over 40 countries and regions over the past three years.
