Intl alcohol expo celebrates 10th year in Guizhou

The 10th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo launched in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Sept 9.

At the opening ceremony, Qian Keming, vice-minister of the Ministry of Commerce, stated that exhibitors should fully utilize the expo to make business connections and achieve cooperative outcomes.

The liquor industry plays a crucial role in Guizhou's economy, society and culture, as Guizhou is one of China's major liquor producing areas.

During the past 10 years, the expo has become a key platform for Guizhou's opening-up and communication with the international liquor industry, and has contributed to Guizhou's economic growth, Qian added.

As one of the expo organizers, the Ministry of Commerce will further enhance cooperation with Guizhou to improve the branding and marketing of the expo.
