Southwest China's Guizhou province recently issued guidelines for the integration of big data and the real economy -- the first of its kind in China.

The guidelines focus on the operations behind the process, helping companies to improve the integration, as well as showcasing Guizhou's characteristics in the integration.

The national integration management system and a data management ability evaluation module will be used as a reference to meet the overall goal of establishing digital systems in companies and the guidelines outline the requirements for companies to implement the big data integration.

The guidelines will also help the companies to develop the application ability based on the new generation information technologies in the areas of whole industrial chain, R&D, manufacturing, business management and marketing.

The guidelines rely on the data and experience gained from Guizhou's evaluation of the big data integration of over 15,000 companies during the past four years.

They will also respond to the integration situation of all industries and all areas in the province, to promote the integration of big data and the real economy based on Guizhou's needs.

In the future, the province will accelerate the application of the guidelines, guide companies to start the integration in a scientific way and ensure that the guidelines become national.
