Southwest China's Guizhou province was recently included in a national plan for developing regional medical centers – and it will get one of them.
That's according to the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Health Commission and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Construction on the pilot centers started in October 2019, involving the training of top-line medical staff members. When its own is constructed, Guizhou is expected to significantly improve its medical treatment capabilities.
Currently, Guizhou is making plans and setting out policies to support the construction of its regional medical center.
With the support of national government departments, Guizhou is seen attracting more national hospitals to the province.
