The Guizhou section of the Guiyang-Nanning high-speed railway was officially integrated on July 13 as the Qingmiaozhai Tunnel was drilled through.

The Qingmiaozhai Tunnel borders Longli county and Guiding county in Southwest China's Guizhou province. It is 8,340 meters long with two lanes in both directions and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

The project department of the China Railway Second Bureau planned in advance, optimized the allocation of resources, and overcame various difficulties encountered during construction.

The Guizhou section of the Guiyang-Nanning high-speed railway, which started construction in 2016, is about 199.6 kilometers long with a designed speed of 350 km per hour. It has 52.9 km of bridges and 128.3 km of 63 tunnels.

The Guiyang-Nanning high-speed railway is a key part of the railway network connecting North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region and South China's Hainan province.

It will be connected with the Shanghai-Kunming, Chengdu-Guiyang and Nanning-Kunming high-speed railways to provide convenient transportation services for passengers traveling between West China and South China.
