With the arrival of spring, flower-viewing tours have become the first choice for tourists looking for a spring outing. In Southwest China's Guizhou province, the number of tourists from inside and outside the province is increasing, accelerating the recovery of Guizhou's tourism sector.

In recent years, Xixiu district in Anshun city has become increasingly popular for flower viewing after launching related tourist routes. In 2022, Xixiu district received 3.04 million visits through a tourism promotion activity, earning a total tourism revenue of 2.74 billion yuan ($397.3 million).

Baili Azalea Nature Reserve in Bijie is a national 5A-level scenic spot famous for azalea flowers. With its infrastructure being improved, the nature reserve is now suitable for visiting throughout the year.

The nature reserve's Tiaohuapo scenic spot is currently under renovation. It has recreational facilities, commercial complexes, flower-viewing roads, camping bases, villages, and infrastructure. When completed, the scenic spot will be able to receive about 5,000 visitors per day.

By integrating flower-viewing with folk culture, Guizhou is striving to promote the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries, accelerating both tourism development and economic development.
