Craftsmen in Shibing county of Guizhou province are busy making dragon boats to welcome the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival. This year's festival will be celebrated from June 21 to 25.

Shibing is one of the birthplaces of the Miao ethnic group's dragon boats and races in the Qingshui River Basin. The Shibing race is a representative ethnic custom of southeastern Guizhou, and a unique cultural heritage of the province.
