Southwest China's Guizhou province boasts the largest coal reserves south of the Yangtze River. By attracting major enterprises and optimizing the ecological environment, coal in Guizhou has evolved from being just a fuel to becoming a raw material for the coal chemical industry.

Currently, Guizhou is enhancing its energy supply capability through precise exploration, accurate ore blending, refined mining, and deep mineral utilization. The province aims to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, thereby promoting high-quality economic and social development.

Leveraging the advantages of big data development, Guizhou has established research and development teams through industry-university-research collaboration, enabling the digital transformation of geological exploration from general surveys to detailed investigations.

Accurate ore blending is the key to advancing the efficient utilization of mines. Guizhou, starting with phosphorus, is experimenting with other mineral types to form more replicable and scalable collective mining experience, optimize the allocation of industrial resources, and harness the decisive role of the market in resource allocation.

Guizhou has developed a resource-based industry system centered around new energy battery materials, phosphorus and phosphorus chemicals, coal and coal chemicals, and aluminum and aluminum processing.

This lays a solid foundation for establishing a nationally major deep processing base for resources as well as a research and production base for new energy power batteries and materials.
