Three Guizhou villages receive Spring Festival sightseeing recommendation

Longjing village, Longlisuo village, and Xiasi community in Southwest China's Guizhou province have been listed in the 2025 Spring Festival "Village Gala" demonstration list for their tourism resources.

Longjing village is 2 kilometers from the historic Qingyan Ancient Town and 29 km from downtown Guiyang. It is in the humid subtropical monsoon climate zone, with mild winters and summers.

The total area of Longjing village is 2.4 square kilometers. It enjoys abundant water resources, fertile land, and a 65 percent forest coverage rate, as well as beautiful natural scenery.

Longlisuo village is located in the southern part of Jinping county, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture. It is home to a diverse mix of ethnic groups, including Han, Dong, and Miao, with Han Chinese being the majority.

In 2007, the Ministry of Culture selected Longlisuo village as one of the third batch of Chinese Historical and Cultural Villages. In 2012, it was included in the first batch of the National Traditional Villages, and in 2013, the ancient architecture in Longlisuo was designated as a national key cultural heritage site.

Xiasi community is located in the core of Houchang town, an ancient town with over 1,000 years of history.

The community is rich in resources and has a favorable location for development. Houchang is historically a well-known commercial center in Guizhou, earning the title of one of the four famous towns in northern Guizhou.
