Tourism Plus 2025 kicked off in Shanghai on March 30, with the pavilion of Southwest China's Guizhou province emerging as a star attraction. Inspired by the province's karst landscapes and cultural heritage, the pavilion wove nature, history, and innovation into its design.

Visitors entered through a cascading waterfall UV gauze curtain, blending ethereal karst formations with cutting-edge tech. A winding path mimicked Guizhou's terraced fields, leading explorers past a Tunpu arched gate into four themed zones.

The red culture section's digital art from the Red Ribbon Long March Museum was captivating, while AI-powered installations reimagined revolutionary tales. The ethnic culture zone buzzed as travelers tried Miao batik dyeing and crafted silver jewelry.

A highlight was the "rural vitalization" exhibit, where holograms showcased rural tourism projects merging sports, agri-tourism, and eco-lodges. Guizhou is turning fleeting visits into lasting memories with initiatives like "micro-group tours" that let travelers hop between villages via regional flights.

The Tourism Plus 2025, which will last until April 2, comprises five exhibition areas spanning 700,000 square meters. Covering 15 industrial sectors and 68 exhibition sections, the event has drawn participation from over 6,000 exhibitors and visitors from more than 140 countries and regions.
