The first Guizhou based plants sharing platform opened to the public in Guiyang, capital city of southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 18.

The platform, named Baopen Tech, provides a variety of green plants to consumers who can rent or purchase them at a lower price, and most of the plants are available to rent for less than $1 per month.

We hope that our platform can enable families to enjoy green plants easier by following our comprehensive service, said Liu Xiangyu, president of Guizhou Baopen Tech Co Ltd.

Liu added that they will remind consumers on ways to take care of the plants like through watering and loosening the soil by sending them messages when necessary.

In addition, they can offer a lower price as they purchased the plants from farmers without extra costs.

Their goal is to offer the service to 300,000 families and companies, which will incentive at least 20,000 families to grow plants and further develop the province's green plants industry in 2021.

According to the development schedule, the platform is expected to provide 500 jobs for local residents in the future.
