Guiyang districts rank among best in country

Nanming district and Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital city of  southwestern Guizhou province, rank among China's top 100 districts in terms of  business environment, development potential and residents' happiness, according  to a report released by CCID Consulting.

CCID Consulting is directly affiliated to the China Center for  Information Industry Development at the Ministry of Industry and Information  Technology.

The GDP of every district in the report topped 80 billion yuan  ($11.36 billion).

According to the report, the average GDP growth rate of the top 100  districts in 2019 was 1 percentage point higher than the national average. Their  per capita GDP was about 2.5 times the national average and the growth rate of  fixed asset investment was 3.5 percentage points higher than the national  average.

In 2019, the districts of 17 provinces were listed in the top 100  cities. Yunyan and Nanming were the only two from Guiyang province.

In 2019, the total GDP of the cities to which the top 100 districts  belonged was 30.5 trillion yuan. The report found that the GDP of the top 100  districts was 15.3 trillion yuan, with an overall contribution of more than 50  percent to the total.
