Sun Shuzhong

Sun Shuzhong is the former director of the senior diplomat practice of innovation committee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, former ambassador of China to the Kingdom of Morocco, and former ambassador of China to Rwanda.

Sun now serves as a researcher at the Oriental Thinktank, a professor at Nanjing University, and visiting research fellow at the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies.

Sun is adept at the studies of differences and dialogues between eastern and western civilizations, and the risks and opportunities of international trade cooperation involving the Belt and Road Initiative.
