Guizhou to add three expressways

Southwest China's Guizhou province recently planned three new expressways, with the purpose of creating a perfect provincial and national expressway network, improving regional traffic condition, and boosting economic development.

The three expressways include one from Tongren's Dejiang county to Zunyi's Yuqing county. It will stretch 102.2 kilometers, with four lanes and a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour. The estimated investment value of the project is 14.16 billion yuan ($2.03 billion).

Another one connecting Bijie's Nayong county and QianxinanBouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture's Qinglong county is 122 km long. It has a design speed of 100 km per hour with a total investment of 36.43 billion yuan.

The third expressway will connect Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture's Jianhe county and Liping county. It will stretch 74.4 km with four lanes and a design speed of 80 km per hour. It will be built with an investment of 12.97 billion yuan.
