Guizhou establishes modern industrial system led by digital economy

As the digital economy becomes a key factor in changing the global economic structure and changing the global competition patterns, Southwest China's Guizhou province will build an innovation zone for the development of the digital economy and accelerate the establishment of a modern industrial system led by the digital economy in the new era of West China Development.

To achieve these goals, Guizhou will pursue breakthroughs in key technologies for public big data, intelligent mining, unconventional oil-gas exploration and development, and power batteries.

Guizhou will enhance the in-depth integration of digital technologies and the real economy so as to upgrade and transform traditional industries and explore digital China construction.

The establishment of a modern industrial system led by the digital economy relies on talent resources. Guizhou's cities and departments should make efforts to attract high-end talent for the digital economy, clean energy, high-end manufacturing and mountainous agriculture.

They should also explore a flexible talent introduction mechanism to provide human resources and intelligent support for Guizhou's modern industrial system.
